About the event
What we’ll do:
This Healing Hike Day will unique and powerful experience that combines outdoor wellness with historical reflection. Warner Park is a place rich with natural beauty and deep historical significance. This land, once worked by enslaved ancestors, holds stories that deserve to be remembered and honored.
Our 3 guided mile hike will take us through the paths where those ancestors once walked, offering us a chance to connect with their legacies and reflect on their resilience. This is an opportunity not just to engage with nature, but to engage with our history—to walk in the footsteps of those who came before us and to honor their memory.
Following the hike on Saturday evening, we invite you to continue the journey with us for a special event at Travellers Rest with Your Legacy Tours, where we will delve into the lives of more of our ancestors who lived and worked on this historic plantation. By connecting the narrative of the land at Warner Park with the stories preserved at Travellers Rest, we will gain a deeper understanding of the lives and legacies of these individuals.
This experience is designed to nurture both body and soul, providing a space for reflection, connection, and healing. We hope you will join us for this meaningful event and help us ensure that the stories of our ancestors are never forgotten.

Can I bring my dog? We're big fans of our furry friends, but this hike is just for the two-legged pals. So, unfortunately, no doggy trailblazers
