Waterfall Hike to Machine Falls -SUNDAY

What we'll do:

We will hike to Machine Falls which drops more then 60 feet and splash around in the waterfall. This area is a rich forest and a water crossing of ankle deep water. 

What's included:

• 2.5 mile guided waterfall hike
• Bottled water 
• First aid and insect repellent 
• Hiking Poles to share 

Things to keep in mind:

• Rating: Moderate/ strenuous with a 583 feet elevation gain
•  The drive from our meetup location to the falls is approximately 1 hour each way. 

Meeting Location:

We will be meeting up at: 

Waffle House - 629 Woodbury Hwy, Manchester, TN 37355 ( I-24 exit 110)

We will leave PROMPTLY at 8 AM.

What to bring:

• Sturdy Tennis/Running shoes are fine. 
• Water shoes (Optional, but strongly encouraged) 
• Towel 
• Small backpacks 
• Dress appropriate for warm weather (avoid denim and 100% cotton)
