Trip Booking Terms and Conditions

Our Agreement

All bookings are made with Abundant Life Adventure Club LLC (us/we). By booking a trip with us,you are deemed to have agreed to these terms and conditions (which constitutes the entire agreement between you and us) and your booking will be accepted by us on this basis. The services to be provided are those referred to in your booking confirmation.

This is valid from the time of your booking to the completion of your trip.

 

Acceptance of Booking

We will issue a confirmation receipt via email once your booking has been accepted. A contract will exist between us from the date we accept your initial payment.

 

Participation Requirements

All participants on our group trips must be over the age of 21. Must good physical condition and do not suffer from any known condition which would prevent limit my full participation in the excursions included in this trip. As applies for trip with zip lining and horseback riding: Participants weight must not exceed 235 pounds to participate in horseback riding excursion and 275 pounds for zip lining. Please contact us if you have questions or concerns regarding the health or physical demands for a specific trip.

 

Your Personal Details

In order for us to confirm your participation, you must provide all requested details with the balance of the trip price. Necessary details vary by trip; they include but are not limited to full name, address, date of birth, phone number, email, proof of travel insurance, copy of passport, proof of Covid-19 vaccination or negative test results, flight confirmations, and any medical conditions that may affect your ability to complete your trip. Failure to provide the requested details may result in a non-refundable cancellation of your trip.

 

Inclusions & Exclusions

Our standard trips typically include:

  • Accommodations as listed

  • Ground transportation as listed

  • Activities and meals as listed

  • A trip host as described

The price of your trip does not include:

  • International  flights

  • Meals other than those specified

  • Any required immunization costs

  • Travel insurance or supplementary health insurance costs

  • Optional activities

  • Any other charges or costs during your trip

​

Payments

All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

​

During booking you may choose to 1) Pay in full, 2) Pay a deposit with subsequent payments. For domestic trips: All trips must be paid in full 45 days before your trip start date. For international trips: All trips must be paid in full 90 days before your trip start date.

​

An initial payment (your deposit) is required to confirm your booking.  If a payment is missed, we’ll notify you via email and text message as a courtesy. If we don’t hear back within 10 days, your trip will be cancelled. If you are experience financial difficulties, please contact us for available options.

You will receive automatic payment reminders. You can make additional payments on your trip in addition to the payment plan dates. 

​

Payment plans are customizable.

​

For bookings made less than 90 days before departure, full payment is required at the time of purchase; no deposit or payment plans will be offered.

AUTOMATIC BILLING PLAN:

When you book, we’ll calculate an evenly divided automatic billing plan for you, and you will know in advance the dates that your payment will be processed. Your initial deposit is due at the time of booking, and your future payments will be charged according to the schedule you see on your invoice. 

 

Covid 19 Health Precautions

Travelers are required to produce proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 to Abundant Life Adventure Club, LLC. prior to trip departure. In accordance with local laws and mandates, you may be requires to present the previously mentioned documentation to the airlines, resort, and third partner partners. We are not responsible if you are refused entry to a island, resort or activities because you lack the correct travel documentation.

 

Itinerary Changes

While we aim to operate all trips as described, we reserve the right to change any trip itinerary. The itinerary provided for each trip is representative of the types of activities planned, but it is understood that the route, schedules, itineraries, amenities, and mode of transport may be subject to change without prior notice due to local circumstances or events. If we make a major change, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible.

 

Authority on Trips

Our group trips are run by a designated team members referred to as the Trip Host. The decision of the Trip Host is final on all matters likely to affect the safety or well-being of any participant or team member participating in the trip. If you fail to comply with a decision made by a Host or interfere with the well-being or mobility of your trip participants, the Host may direct you to leave the trip immediately, with no right of refund. We may also elect not to carry you on any future trips booked. You must at all times comply with the laws, customs, foreign exchange and drug regulations of all countries visited, and you also agree to travel in accordance with our responsible travel guidelines.

 

Acceptance of Risks

You acknowledge that the nature of the trip is adventurous and your participation involves a degree of personal risk. It is also your own responsibility to acquaint yourself with all relevant travel information and the nature of your itinerary. You acknowledge that your decision to travel is made in light of consideration of this information and you accept that you are aware of the personal risks attendant upon such travel.

 

Limitation of Liability

We contract with a network of third-party companies, agencies, and individuals to assist in the operations of our trips. We are not responsible for the acts and omissions of these third parties.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Any liability for loss, death, injury, or damage which you may suffer (directly or indirectly) in connection with or as a result of your participation in a trip, or any breach of the Terms, are excluded; You release us and our employees, agents, and representatives from any liability and expressly waive any claims you may have against us arising out of or in connection with your participation in a trip; Any condition or warranty which would otherwise be implied by law into these Terms (Implied Warranty), is excluded.

To the extent an Implied Warranty cannot be excluded, our liability in respect of the Implied Warranty is limited to (in our absolute discretion): (i) the provision of a similar trip to an equivalent value; or (ii) a credit or refund of the total amount received by us from you in connection with your booking.

Any claim by you is excluded to the extent that it is for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or economic loss, however it arises, or for indirect, special, punitive, or exemplary damages.

 

Optional Activities

Optional activities not included in the trip price do not form part of the trip or this agreement. You accept that any assistance given by your trip host or local representative in arranging optional activities does not render us liable for them in any way. The contract for the provision of that activity will be between you and the activity provider.

 

Cancellations

You may cancel your travel arrangements at any time before the trip departure. However please note you may lose part or all of your money paid. No exceptions will be granted to our Cancellation policy. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable with no exceptions. 

Refunds will only be made available to the person named on the booking payment receipt. Under no circumstances are deposits refundable, after the initial 24 hour booking period. If you have paid in full, your non-refundable deposit is included in this payment.

 

The cancellation fees will be an amount determined below, except where otherwise indicated.

Cancellations made by you (except Ghana trip)

  • More than 6 months: Refund 95% of payments that have been made over and above the non-refundable deposits. Trip can be transferred.

  • Between 6 months-120 days: Refunds 80% of payments that have been made over and above the non-refundable deposits. Trip can be transferred.

  • less than 120 days: No refunds and trip can not be transferred. 

If you fail to join a trip, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund or credit will be provided. The above cancellation fees are in addition to fees that may be levied by our third-party partners. We strongly advise you to purchase travel insurance that includes "cancel for any reason" insurance at the time of booking.

Cancellations by you (for Ghana trip)

Deposits are non-refundable with no exceptions. 

No exceptions will be granted to our Cancellation policy.

Cancellations by you:

 

  • More than 6 months: Refund 50% of payments that have been made over and above the non-refundable deposits. Trip can be transferred.

  • Between 6 months-120 days: No refunds. Trip can be transferred.

  • Less than 120 days: No refunds and trip can not be transferred. 

If you fail to join a trip, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund or credit will be provided. The above cancellation fees are in addition to fees that may be levied by our third-party partners. We strongly advise you to purchase travel insurance that includes "cancel for any reason" insurance at the time of booking.

 

Cancellation by us

We reserve the right to cancel trips with inadequate participant attendance, in which case all money paid to ABUNDANT LIFE ADVENTURE CLUB, LLC will be fully refunded. Abundant Life Adventure Club, LLC. CANNOT be held responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets due to changes in itineraries or tour cancellations.

 

We may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure, due to natural disasters, terrorism, political instability, or other external events that make it no longer viable to operate the planned itinerary. If your trip is canceled, we will notify you immediately and provide instructions for the next steps. In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside our reasonable control, a trip credit or refund will be less any unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses that you may have incurred as a result of your booking, including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, travel insurance, or non-refundable flights. Please note that different cancellation conditions may apply to some trips; we will advise if differences apply. To help you recover any losses, we strongly advise you to purchase travel insurance that includes "cancel for any reason" insurance at the time of booking.

 

Privacy Policy

Any personal information that we collect about you may be used only for the purposes associated with the operation of a Trip or to send you marketing material in relation to our services. The information may be disclosed to our partners, service providers, or other suppliers to enable us to operate the trip.

 

Roommate Matching

Roommate Matching is offered for select trips. If you want to be matched, please enter “Match Me” on the reservation form where if asks for your roommate name. Also, please note roommate matching does not take place until after 75% of the cost of the package is paid.

 

Photos, Videos, and Marketing

By purchasing and/or joining a trip, you consent to the use of any images or videos taken for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium we choose. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes.

 

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory for all our participants and should be taken out at the time of booking. Your travel insurance must provide coverage against personal accident, death, medical expenses, and emergency repatriation. We also strongly recommend that it covers cancellation, curtailment, personal liability, loss of luggage, and personal effects. You must provide your travel insurance policy number and the insurance company’s 24-hour emergency contact number prior to your trip; you will not be able to join the trip without these documents. If you have insurance connected to your credit card or bank account, please ensure you have details of the participating insurer, the insurance policy number, and emergency contact number with you rather than the bank’s name and credit card details.

PASSPORT & VISAS

All travelers must have a valid passport for any international travel and many countries require at least six months validity from the date of return.

​

Some countries also require a machine-readable passport and/or unstamped available pages. When you book a trip with us, we will assume that all travelers on the booking have a valid passport. If this is not the case, you must let us know.

 

You must ensure that you have valid passports, visas and re-entry permits that meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities (including, in certain cases, visas for transit points). This includes positive Covid-19 PCR/fit to travel documents or proof of full Covid-19 vaccinations.

 

Any fines, penalties, payments, delays or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility.

 

We do not accept any responsibility if you cannot travel because you have not complied with any passport, visa, Covid-19 or immigration requirements.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING COVID-19 AND IMPACT ON TRAVEL

 

Please be advised that you are considering, or intending to proceed with, international travel at a time when COVID-19 is a known global risk. Any person choosing to proceed with travel with that in mind, does assume and accept responsibility accordingly for the risks, potential loss and limitations that may apply.

Abundant Life Adventure Club, LLC advises that COVID-19, and the health and security measures around COVID may impact parts of your trip and may affect the operation of some travel services. Any country you travelling to, from or via, and the airline(s) you are travelling on, may all have strict requirements to limit the spread of COVID-19.

 

These requirements may include, but are not limited to:

  • Wearing of masks at airports, while on an aircraft, and when out in public.

  • Compulsory requirements to have adequate health & travel insurance coverage.

  • Requirement to be fully vaccinated before being allowed to enter or transit a country.

  • Being fully vaccinated or be tested for COVID-19, before being allowed to board any flight.

  • Subject to pre-screening or screening to enter your destination country or any transit countries.

  • Subject to quarantine/isolation periods in any country subject to screening results.

  • Having proof of vaccination or health status, when staying in hotels, dining, sightseeing, etc.

  • Changing restrictions on sightseeing, due to closures or other public health concerns.

  • Limitation/restrictions on travel to your destination by your country of residence/citizenship.

  • Possible compulsory quarantine on return to your country of residence/citizenship.
